Head injury’s and links to memory problems

Many years before my diagnosis, I had a fall from a ladder from around 10 feet and vaugley remember hitting my head which sounded like an explosion at the time, then nothing i woke up unsure as to what had happened or where I was, then I realised that I needed to go to the toilet to have a pee Moments later I realised that I had mistaken a washbasin for a urinal, and then had to wash it all away and clean in as I was embarrassed that I had done such a thing I then went back to where I had been working, and was staggered to see the damage I had done, because I thought I could manage on my own, instead of waiting for my colleague At this stage I was still unstable and felt drunk, and my head felt as if it had been hit by a very large hammer I went home as my leg was bleeding, and later that night my wife took me to hospital as the top right hand side of my head was badly bruised, but they didn’t want to know anything about it.
